Revit Tracker for BIM Manager
A real-time tracking and validation system for BIM managers and coordinators reviewing modelers' work. Initial working build delivered shortly after engagement; now in formal build-out.
Context
An award-winning Austrian architecture firm with active BIM-based project delivery. Their BIM coordination team manages multiple modelers across complex projects, requiring systematic oversight of model quality and delivery progress.
The bottleneck
BIM managers had no systematic way to track modeler progress or validate model quality in real time. Oversight was manual, time-consuming, and prone to late-stage discovery of errors — compressing review cycles just before delivery milestones.
What we built
A Revit plugin that provides real-time tracking and validation for BIM managers. The system monitors model changes by modeler, flags deviation from defined standards, and presents a manager-facing dashboard for at-a-glance status across the team. Initial working build was delivered shortly after the field interview engagement and validated by the BIM coordinator. Now in formal build-out with additional features.
Engagement
Outcome
Working initial build validated by the BIM coordinator. Formal build ongoing with expanded feature set. Reference case for manager-centric tool design.
